69 Chopper is the Official 2011 Bike Week Motorcycle

69 Chopper Picks Up Chicks

The Brass Ball Bobbers & Choppers’ custom-production 69 Chopper has been selected by American Iron Magazine as the 2011 Official Bike of Daytona Bike Week.

Each year for the last 16 years, the Daytona Beach Community Foundation holds a drawing for the Official Bike Week Motorcycle. Fifty dollars ($50) enters you into the drawing.

Since there are only 4500 tickets printed, the odds of being a winner are incredibly high.

Chris Maida, Editor of American Iron Magazine , said, “I selected the 69 Chopper based on an evaluation we did for the magazine at the 2010 Daytona Bike Week. We worked out creating a special high-performance model with a retro S&S Shovelhead-style engine combined with the first 69 Chopper softail.”

The Daytona Beach Community Foundation will receive Brass Balls’ latest model and first softail-version of the 69 Chopper.

“We had planned to release the softail-style 69 Chopper in the second quarter of 2011, but after understanding the importance of the Foundation, we decided to move up the production date to assist in the promotion with the roll out of our new model,” explained Dar Holdsworth, Brass Balls’ BossMan.

Daytona Bike Week is a motorcycle event and rally held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Approximately 500,000 people make their way to the rally area for the 10-day event. The festivities include motorcycle racing, concerts, parties, and street festivals. The event usually is held during the first full week of March and contends with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally as the most popular motorcycle rally in the United States.
